Altona Hockey Club is currently looking to recruit players for the 2012 Hockey Victoria season, to fill positions in our men's and women's squads, and throughout the club program.
Altona is located just 15 minutes out of the Melbourne CBD on the shores of Port Phillip bay. We boast arguably the best WET/DRY turf in Victoria, which is easily accessible by Public Transport or by Car.
We are a friendly, family oriented club, with one of the best hockey grounds in Victoria, clubrooms, canteen and bar. Recently we have had many international visitors from UK, Germany, New Zealand, Spain and Canada (including Internationals Richard Hildreth and Stephen Bissett) who have had a fantastic time and can honestly say made friends for life! The Australian season runs from March - September and Melbourne is the sporting capital of the Southern Hemisphere, so if you are currently playing hockey in Melbourne, or looking to move to Melbourne on a working holiday/gap year/student exchange in 2012 and are looking for a club to play for please feel free to contact us. Whilst we cannot offer remuneration we can assist with accomodation/jobs as well as providing coaching/umpiring opportunities with local private schools.

My name is M.Rizwan and i am 21, a very keen National hockey player, I currently live in Pak but now play in Doha Qatar. where i play in five different teams. These range from captain of the 9th best teams in Gulf countries to playing for Men's national league team against current Holland, India,UAE,China,Malasia..
I also have been selected into a Doha Qatar under21 national team to play Malaysia and Hong Kong in September.

LADIES GOALIE NEEDED- WORTHING

Worthing Ladies 1st XI are looking for a goalkeeper!
We are a friendly lively team. We play in the Sussex Prem and are pushing hard for promotion into the South Division 3B. Having finished no lower than 3rd in the last 4 years, this is a realistic prospect but only with a great goalie in our net!
You will benefit from dedicated goalie coaching and skills sessions from the ex GB player who now coaches us. We also have an ex National League player who manages us during our games, she has a wealth of knowledge and experience and we are constantly learning from her.
It is not all work; we like to play hard too. There is something going on every weekend, drinking and socialising in the clubhouse with all of Worthing 's 11 teams or heading out just the girls, we like to have a lot of fun.

Looking for season abroad

My name is Sean Laidlaw and i am 18, a very keen ambitious hockey player, I currenly live in New Zealand where i play in five different teams. These range from captain of the 9th best school in New Zealand to playing for Mens national league team against current blackstick.
I also have been selected into a New Zealand under18 national team to play australia in december.

Hockey Coach wanted for St George's Medical School Hockey Team
|
St George's Medical School Hockey Team are looking for a coach for this coming season.
Hopefully spending time with both the Ladies and Mens teams of which we have two of each with a wide range of abilities - therefore, we need someone who is willing to adapt for various levels of players.
Both first XI are looking to gain promotion after a couple of tough seasons and thus we need someone who is dedicated and enthusiastic, but doesn't suck the fun out of training!!
You would be required for approximately 2hours on Monday nights and we currently train in Mitcham - but transport could be arrange via the Tooting area.

WANTED -Ladies Hockey Coach -Imperial Medicals

Imperial College School of Medicine Ladies Hockey Club is currently recruiting a coach for its Women's Hockey teams.
We have three teams with a wide range of abilities, from our first team who compete in BUCS South East division 3 and will be pushing for promotion this year, to our third team comprising players who have never played hockey before. We require a reliable, enthusiastic coach who is capable of training approximately 30 people of ranging abilities, stretching our first team but also teaching the basics to new members. We require fun sessions that push us to improve our standard of hockey without forgetting the enjoyment of the game.
