The Men's First Team of Havering Hockey Club are looking to make a push from East Premier A into the National League.
The squad is fortunate enough to have a number of current and former international and national league standard players within the squad, as well as a talented group of young players who represent the club at divisional and county level .
With a top five finish this season, and the second best points tally in the Premier A after Christmas, our aim for the 2008/9 season is to raise the level of the club and gain promotion to the National League. We are looking for one or two additional players to help us achieve this goal.
We're always looking for players in the local area, or those who are willing to travel a moderate distance to play, but can also welcome players who have an EU passport OR who are here / are coming to the UK on a working, study or holiday visa. We already have a long-standing commitment with the one non-EU based player that is permitted and we regret that we are therefore unable to consider any players without EU passports who would require a player/coaching visa.
The club is based on the London/Essex border with fast train links (less than 20 minutes) to the centre of London. The club has five men's and four ladies' sides, and places as strong an emphasis on its social side as it does on its hockey!

The humble market town of Grantham are looking for more players to join the area's most successful hockey club.
All ages and abilities are welcome to take part in training sessions on Tuesdays at the Meres Leisure centre in Grantham, from half past 7 to 9. Matches are played on Saturdays, but we are looking to play mixed games during the week possibly.
There is also a junior training session held from half 6 to half 7 beforehand for ages 9-15.
There are 4 teams at the moment, 2 mens who both play in the Bodykraft East Midlands division 2 leagues, and 2 womens teams (i can't remember what league theyre in sorry!)
We are currently the owners of the much coveted "Trophy de Skeg" after dominating the renownded Skegness Annual Hockey Tournament. We are bookies favourites to win it again this year!
All in all, if you're interested in meeting new people, having a laugh and playing hockey then Grantham's the club for you!

We are looking for a Hockey player who would like to be an Au Pair in Germany. We live close to Frankfurt and are members of SC Frankfurt 1880, an old German hockey club. Our first ladies' and men's team are playing in the Bundesliga and if you are a quiet good player you could join the team. Seeking a Coach for 2008-2009

Lancaster Uni mens hockey club is looking for a coach for its 1st team, we play in BUSA 2A on wednesdays and North West 3 on saturdays, applicants would not need to be at the games on Wednesdays but be able to train us Monday and Thursday evenings.
The Uni does have money to pay for coaches providing applicant was qualified. We have had a very good fresher intake this year, including a German International and with only 3 of the present team leaving uni this year we will only get stronger. It really is a fantastic opportunity to coach a great bunch of mates, the stereotypical uni attitude does not apply to us on the hockey pitch and obviously the club has a great social side!

Lichfield Hockey Club seeks new player/coach
|
Lichfield Hockey Club is currently looking to recruit a qualified player/coach, who has experience of playing at either Regional or International level.
The ideal candidate would play for our Men's 1st XI and help us gain promotion back to the Slazenger England Hockey League.
This would be a fantastic opportunity for a graduate, school leaver or an overseas player looking to play a very good standard of hockey in the UK, for the rest of the 07/08 season and beyond.
Our club Chairman, Dave Willenbruch, runs a Hockey Coaching scheme for Junior schools in the Lichfield area. The scheme has been awarded a development grant which will fund a new Coach. Ideally the player would have relevant coaching experience up to level 1 or 2 and needs to offer 15 hours a week of hockey coaching to local schools.
Lichfield is one of the biggest hockey clubs in the Midlands and we have nine men's teams and five ladies' teams. It is an extremely friendly and hospitable club with a fantastic spirit and a great social element.
The men's 1st XI team currently play in the BodyKraft Midlands Premier League. Last month we officially opened our brand new Tiger Turf WETT dressed pitch. For more details on the club please visit the website www.lichfieldhc.co.uk.
